Phase 3 – Post-Arrival Orientation – Month 1
During your first month at IRRI you will be invited to participate in 3 separate days of training to ensure you understand IRRI culture and values.
The training will include:
- An overview of IRRI’s mission, strategy, values & organizational structure
- An overview of IRRI’s research programs and priorities
- A Q&A session with current IRRI employees
- More detailed information about manager responsibilities at IRRI
- A full tour of the IRRI facility
- An overview of the local culture and general advice
- A tour of important local services, such as medical facilities
